Asheville, NC

In a short period of time Asheville has become one of the top craft beer cities in the United States and along with that comes tourists and development. There are approximately 12 hotels either newly opened or under construction and thousands of apartments opening up. This growth has created an increase in property values whereas downtown Asheville property is now running in the 2 million per acre range.

Cherokee, NC

Harrah’s Cherokee Casino is the number one tourist attraction in the state of NC drawing over 4 million visitors in 2017. With a world class expansion in the design build stage consisting of an 800 room hotel tower pushing the resort to 1900 rooms, a 80,000 SF convention center and 300,000 SF of festive retail the area is only going to grow and tourist activity will continue to flourish.

Maggie Valley, NC

Hot off the press is a group of investors with ties to Disneyworld have secured a contract to purchase Ghost Town in the Sky. Excitement is in the air. The closing of Ghost Town has stagnated Maggie Valley’s economy.  However, Maggie Valley has shown some strong increases in lodging occupancy in 2018.  Investment opportunities abound. Throw in Cataloochee Ski Resort and Tubing World and you have the tourists right through the winter months. The Maggie Valley Fairgrounds is drawing huge crowds to their many events. In closing, the western NC home of the majestic elk is Maggie Valley.

Murphy, NC

Murphy is the home of the second casino owned and operated by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel was up 24% in 2018. Murphy also serves as the financial/medical hub for far western NC. Less than 2 hours from Atlanta. Rumor is a new shopping center is in the works. Watch it grow!

Bryson City, NC

In close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Harrah’s Cherokee Casino this small town is on the way up! One of the top outdoor towns in the southeast. Add the Great Smoky Mountains Railway, Tsali Recreational Area, lakes and whitewater it’s a winner. Investors take note.

Sylva, NC/Western Carolina University

The university has just broken all enrollment records with more to come. One of the few state funded low cost tuitions should create tremendous growth. The NC DOT is preparing to widen HWY 107 the largest traffic count (30,000+) west of Asheville which will create many investment opportunities with the project expecting to impact up to 55 businesses. Add Dillsboro NC the quaint shopping and food mecca and you have a great market. Stay tuned for progress reports!

Waynesville, NC

The downtown area speaks for itself making it one of the top tourist destinations west of Asheville. With 6000’peaks and the Blue Ridge Parkway nearby you must visit and invest in this great market.
